Magnatech Omni : Before and After

As many know, Philippine Cinema is still sick. I really believe that the lifeblood now relies heavily on Independent or "Indie" films. These flicks reflect certain niches and certain scenarios which really hit the spot (Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros, Sarumbanggi, Tulad ng Dati just to name a few).

I just found out on another blog page (CLICK HERE to view the page) that Magnatech Omni, a historical movie site somewhere in Quezon City has been demoted to a derelict, sucky "Trike" station.

It's just sad to note that a couple of decades ago, this used to be where the cream-of-the-crop in the entertainment industry would flock. Movie stars, producers, directors and even fans would probably be seen in this very spot.
