It was pretty obvious that the Marvel's hype machine for Wolverine is moving the gears once more. Not only will Dark Wolverine reboot (starring Logan's wayward son Daken Akihiro) but we'll be seeing an X-23 ongoing courtesy of Marjorie Liu.
Just how many times do they have to reboot the Wolverine books? I mean I was pretty happy with the numbering system around the end of "Old Man Logan" and then they had to stop it and then restart it all over again and changing the Wolverine book into Dark Wolverine.
Despite all the inherent bitching about the topic I am happy about Wolverine having a sub-universe within the Marvel universe.

they're probably rebooting it so that the 1st issue will sell well (#1) and so they can raise the prices to $3.99..
i'm planning to get just the wolverine and the x-23 books..not really sure i want the daken one.
I'm getting the new Daken/Frankencastle x-over. It's just really great!
i'm going to get that one, it's still with my lcs..had to delay getting it cause of the co sale. dark wolverine is currently a part of my pull list but i'm not sure it will be after the reboot.
due to some comic magic, Daken will take over Wolverine's body, and Logan himself will be trapped in Hell. i think this is because Frankencastle will kill Daken, and Daken will pull some strings to switch places with his dad. pretty interesting, and its a kind of a nod to Chris Claremont's previous plan to make him a Hand assassin (which Mark Millar wrote as "Enemy of the State"). this time, devious Daken will be walking among the heroes and will be in a position to create chaos.
@ Grifter - And because of that I will totally get the new books. I wonder how X-23 will figure into all of this?
@grifter where'd you get the info? saw the preview of daken 1 and he's still in his body..i doubt frankencastle will be able to kill him..from what i heard wolverine being in hell will have something to do with nightcrawler's final request which will be tackled in wolverine weapon x 16..
@Emperor.Kaizer maybe she'll join the x-men in trying to stop wolverine? from what i read, wolverine vs. colossus will take place in issue #4...
