The Conclusion for X-Force: Sex and Violence

In between sobs, I am going to admit that I will definitely miss the old X-Force crew of Chris Yost and Craig Kyle.

And with X-Force Sex and Violence concluding this week, we might say that we will thoroughly miss the old team (heck even Gabrielle Del otto).

Hey, the book was testosterone filled and had a lot of sexual tension between Domino and Wolverine.

Yes, the book wouldnt be called X-Force without the appearance of the actual team right?

A cool Archangel moment, you only see in Manga and Japanese Anime...

Yes, Doms, we know just how sizzling hot you really can be. Now please zip up that sexy, skintight dress wouldja?

God I miss the old New Avengers

While checking out the latest preview for the second issue of Avengers: Children's Crusade, I saw this particular shot...

DAMN! I just wish various Marvel events didnt break up the original roster. If there was no Civil War then maybe there should not have been any One More Day nor were Cap and Iron Man split right down the middle over their beliefs and personal philosophy.

Wolverine Pep Talk's Fantomex for Uncanny X-Force

As Wolverine's soul takes a "spiritual sabattical" to hell and as the new Uncanny X-Force suits up for their latest adventure to take out Apocalypse and his minions we get to see Wolverine acquiring the services of Weapon XI also known as the super thief Fantomex.

Yay! We also get to see more of Kieron Gillen's Generation Hope with the release of Wolverine: Road to Hell.

Saying Goodbye to X-Force Sex and Violence

It's a bitter sweet moment for fans of Craig Kyle and Chris Yost as they say farewell to X-Force lore with their beautiful X-Force Sex and Violence...

And to say farewell to the great team (Second only to Abnett and Lanning) I'm doing a mega-post for this gorgeous series which was done by painter extraordinaire Gabrielle Del'Otto...

If you think about it, Wolverine always goes about saying he's the best he is at what he does. Maybe this is what he truly means...

Look at that Wolverine sex face at the bottom panel. Classic!!!!!

Does coloring the damn splash page make it look cooler? or blander?

For this page however, the red tones looks really great. And oh goody, Domino's lying in a bed full of money. Wicked!

And then all hell breaks loose. Now the next issue promises more gratuitous violence and lethal maiming if need be...

Oh and look, aside from bad ass heroes and vicious looking villains, were also seeing crimson clad ninjas! YAY! (The last sentence seemed like a text coming from a preschooler's book.)

Pick up X-Force: Sex and Violence # 3 out in September...

You might also want to get other X-Force related books such as:

Steve McNiven's Wolverine # 1 Variant

Steve McNiven's cover will come out aside from the Jae Lee cover. Honestly though, if I had money to burn, I'd get both covers because they simply look awesome.

Post-Second Coming Fastball Special

Let's admit it. The third X-Men book may not have sold like the second one (you know the one drawn by Jim Lee) but it was a good read.

Victor Gischler and Paco Medina may have a tough time competing against a certain Chris Claremont and Jim Lee and get a Guiness book of World Records but it was funny as hell. Especially since they were dealing with Vampires.

And it's even better to see the classic fastball special combo...

I'm starting to like the artwork a lot and its also a great time to see Wolverine back in his regular yellow duds versus his black and gray X-Force suit which was really terrible...

Oh wait, Uncanny X-Force is back...

*Face palm*

Kotobukiya X-Force Wolverine

Whats the Deal With Wolverine Going To Hell

It was pretty obvious that the Marvel's hype machine for Wolverine is moving the gears once more. Not only will Dark Wolverine reboot (starring Logan's wayward son Daken Akihiro) but we'll be seeing an X-23 ongoing courtesy of Marjorie Liu.

Just how many times do they have to reboot the Wolverine books? I mean I was pretty happy with the numbering system around the end of "Old Man Logan" and then they had to stop it and then restart it all over again and changing the Wolverine book into Dark Wolverine.

Despite all the inherent bitching about the topic I am happy about Wolverine having a sub-universe within the Marvel universe.

New Preview for Uncanny X-Force

Thank god for Comic Con and their tons of panels. At least we get to see something new for the upcoming Uncanny X-Force featuring Archangel and Wolverine's wetworks group including Deadpool, Psylocke and Fantomex.

Deadpool showing off his sneaking skills for the X-Force crew...

Interesting how Fantomex can use EVA as his personal glider as well as the team's official transport. I suddenly wanted to read Grant Morrison's New X-Men stuff for more on Fantomex...

The interior shot of EVA during team briefing. Man Archangel looks really bad-ass. He's my new favorite.
